My plant flowered! it suffered staying unwatered for a month or more last year, resulting in many of the buds becoming stems instead of flowers, but now it's on the right track and hopefully next year it will be spectacular!

I really like this plant, such a pity that the plant is in this condition.

How do you care for it?

Angraecum sesquipedale v. sesquipedale needs standard Phalaenopsis care, with one difference: it needs a much sunnier position, preferably with direct sun at least for a few hours. The other accepted variety (A. sesquipedale v. angustifolium, erroniously found in the trade lately as ''A. bosserii'') is a lithophyte, and needs more sun, and preferably an inorganic substrate (lava, seramis, etc) which dries out a bit.
